Hello, there stranger!

Posted on August 16, 2026 by K.M. Mason

It’s been a long time since I’ve written anything on here, and it’s been on my heart lately to get back to it. I’m still writing my 1980s Rockstar book, I’d say I’m probably about 85-90% done. I had so much handwritten in my books, I paused on writing there, so I could type it all up into my libre doc. We’re up to about 325 pages (give or take a few ;)! I’ve taken a week off of work, and sadly my work on the novel during this time has been little. I’m hoping to get back to it

Abortion, Disconnected Generations, Upcoming revival

Posted on April 5, 2024 by K.M. Mason

I wrote the below on March 23rd, 2024. I’ve only edited a bit for spelling, etc. It was written from the heart, and what the Holy Spirit placed on it. ————————————- Maybe with cell phones, we’re more acutely aware of being lonely, because we have it all at our fingertips, but no one is really communicating. Back in the day, you wanted to talk to someone you called them or visited them in person. As much as I’m not a talking on phone person, perhaps this was better. A bit of an oxymoron, kinda like social media. They call it

When the Characters Speak and Inspire You

Posted on November 22, 2023 by K.M. Mason

As I was plotting out the path and emotions around my French Resistance character, Renee, I realized that the fear she had about love and marriage, weren’t just her fears, but mine too. I heard the Holy Spirit say to me, “get rid of your predetermined ideas”. I knew at that moment, that was for me and Renee. To let those ideas of mine and the “perfect man/spouse” go, to let my fears of being in a relationship and marriage go, and receive what God has in store for me. Just as she has to let go of her fears,

Struggle Bus

Posted on June 20, 2023 by K.M. Mason

It’s been a challenging past few days, weeks. My guinea pig, Pixie, the baby of the group, had to undergo an emergency spay. She was doing great and getting back into a normal swing of her life, and then she regressed again. I dropped her off at the vet this morning, so they could monitor her for a few days, due to her weight loss after surgery. I sense and believe, today is the day for breakthrough! For me, and I believe for her. She is such a little fighter, and it’s all uphill for her from here! I found

Lost Time

Posted on May 22, 2023 by K.M. Mason

As I was spending my time with God this morning, I told him I hear others talk about multiple streams of income and how others should do this. That topic has frustrated me, as I’ve never felt like I had an immediate second stream that I could earn money from. I make some off of surveys and apps, but I didn’t want to get so engrossed in this that I lose focus on what’s important. My mission field and calling: my writing. I’ve been there in the past, when I was pushing so hard to earn a bit from a

On the Spot Ideas and Characters

Posted on May 10, 2023 by K.M. Mason

As I was editing chapter seven in my book, I sat at the keyboard thinking, “Where do I go from here?”, when it came to me: Add in a character, a love interest for Anja, and the name Sean. While Sean isn’t a Dutch name, when it came to me, I knew that was it! The Holy Spirit has played a big part with my book before, and giving me insight and ideas on where to go with it, but I believe this was a first! Not only creating a on the spot character, but his name as well. This

76th Anniversary of D-Day | June 6th, 1944

Posted on June 7, 2020 by K.M. Mason

Today is the 76th Anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy. American soldiers, alongside allies from the United Kingdom, Canada, Poland, France, and other countries conducted the largest amphibious landing in the history of the world. The following year, 1945, would see the defeat of the Axis powers. Lynn “Buck” Compton, a soldier in the 101st Airborne Division: “Today, when people thank me for my service, I figure three years of my time is a cheap price to pay for this country. Nobody owes me a thing.” 🇺🇸💖 For further reading/listening: St. Tammany brothers recall D-Day, From the Ground and

Prayers for Germany

Posted on June 7, 2019 by K.M. Mason

It’s been on my heart about the country of Germany. I am going to add them to my prayers. It seems they are facing a lot of what we are here in America, with politicians wanting to bring in and accept very dangerous and harmful ideals. I felt I needed to share this with others, as it has been on my heart for a few days. Thank you. https://europe.infowars.com/right-wing-afd-suggests-parts-of-germany-are-now-under-an-islamic-caliphate/
