Saturday, Fun Day!

The weekend is usually when I try and type up what I’ve handwritten of my book. So far I’ve typed up almost 1.5 pages, for 28 minutes.

I tweaked this one scene with Jack, that I think made it stronger and I’m very happy with it! It’s made the scene stronger, and is a sweet moment between he and Holly, a much needed reinforcement for him and what’s he fighting for, what he wants/needs.

I thought I’d share the disc bound notebook I made from a Mead 1989 notebook covers, and scrapbook papers.

I purchased some beautiful paper from Levenger to use and add to it as well. I’m very happy with the way it turned out, and super stoked to be able to use an actual 1980s notebook to make the covers! 😀

Next up, is the 1959 Rheinmetall KsT Typewriter! It’s an azerty layout, I believe coming from the Czech Republic originally, but Rheinmetall is a German company. I used it last night to write, and it’s a snappy beautiful machine! 🙂

I have typewriters from the 1930s-1980s now, and a 2000s (I think) AlphaSmart 3000! 🙂

What are some fun and cool items you’ve repurposed? Any vintage/older tech in your writer’s tools? 🙂
