The connection between Taylor and Jack is out, and Jack is shocked. The bridge accident that day effected more than one person – a ripple effect.
Jack also learns that Taylor isn’t Taylor – replaced by something that has consumed him. Taylor has allowed hate to consume him, and because of his hate he has made very wrong, and very poor choices – all while thinking he is justified in this. Not really caring who he hurts in the process, and also believing it will get him back the sister he lost to his own obsession.
We can’t let hate consume us, we can feel and process things, but in the end, we have to heal and forgive. I know it’s easy to say forgive, and a lot harder to do sometimes. But I have learned forgiveness does come in layers, and I think healing does too.
I hope today, if you’re reading this, and you need help with this. Take a small step, talk to God, ask Him for help. He’s right there – just reach out, He loves you more than anyone, He is love and it consumes His every cell! <3
