This is my 7th straight day of blogging – I’m going for 30! (even though I’ve kept up with the day post, when I missed a 1-3 days)

I did a little peek (even though I told myself I wasn’t going too!), and I have just a few more pages to type up, before everything handwritten in the notebook is in my file! So exciting!

I have some ideas, I want to do to revise this scene, trying to figure out to make it all work. Jack’s learned the truth about his dad, and is realizing more of his family past is bleeding into his present. Jack is struggling over his actions, and trying to sense/figure out how he let himself make those choices, that hurt his wife and effected both of their lives for the past years. He was hoping to find some answers with his biological dad and gain insight into his own behavior, but it frustrates him more, because then he has to reconcile his choices with ones similar to what Allan did — the man who raised him, the man he cannot forgive.

I’ve been learning that trauma creates false identities of ourselves, and that’s what Jack has believed about himself, a lie of who he is, because of trauma he experienced.

I made a brief journal entry today, realizing that when I type on keyboards, and I’m in that zone, it’s so peaceful, and relaxing. The keyboard almost becomes like an extension of you, and you’re just letting things go freely and in a calm, relaxing state. And I was in that place this morning at work, my fingers were just calmly doing there thing on the keyboard, and it was relaxing, just that rhythm/pace and the free flow.

And then it hit me: get those Polychroma RGB keys by Glorious! I have yet to put them on my Red Dragon keyboard, but I think they’ll look awesome! Best Buy had them in stock, so I ordered and in like within 10 minutes they were ready for pickup. Two times I’ve used the Best Buy pickup, and it’s always been impressive to me and very quick & easy!

This will be my first set of Glorious keycaps, but I have their GMMK2 pink keyboard on my desktop PC, and it’s great! I put Kailh box white switches in it, and I have orange/blue see through keys for my main ones, solitaire keycaps for the f12/print screen keys. And a decorative rose for my ESC key, and the glorious emblem for the tilde key.
