Just a short one today, feeling sleepy right now, and I knew I needed to fire this puppy out there!

I wrote a few pages today, about 3 I think, throughout the downtime of today. 🙂

Jack and Holly heading to Holland, MI., for a father/daughter trip, while Val, Dave & Christie are also heading to Holland – both unknown to each other! Dave is leaving rehab temporarily, he’s feeling stir-crazy and restless, and he’s looking forward to some fresh air and outdoors, yet he also feels unsure of himself. He’s rebuilding his life after his suicide attempt, and I suppose he feels unsteady out in the world/society again. I think maybe he is actually scared of himself, if that makes sense.

Val is playing matchmaker between Dave & Christie (with awkward, amusing and frustrating consequences to ensue). Rosie, Dave’s VW Van, is back in all her glory!

I look forward to writing the scenes ahead with Dave & Christie, those are fun to write, between their banter. Inspiration of Darcy & Elizabeth, Jesse & Becky from Full House, Han & Leia, when I write those two! 🙂
