I wrote some today! Very pleased I was finally able to incorporate the dream/spiritual sequence in the book with Jack’s dad, that I had been wanting to for a while. That was a bit of a tough scene to write, but overall, I am happy with how it turned out.

Jack and Holly are on their way to Holland, MI., while Dave, Val, and Christie are also on the way to Holland, MI.

Dave attempted to call Ruby, and instead got her mother on the phone, and let it slip about her pregnancy. He realized that Ruby intended to tell no one about the pregnancy, and after giving birth, put him up for adoption with no one being the wiser. His character is trying to re-build his life, and is struggling in the area of his unborn child the most, he’s afraid of losing custody, and I think perhaps a part of him is afraid of failure on a bigger level as well.
