I did 3 pages so far in the robo reader!

I smile and chuckle almost every time when I read a Dave & Christie scene. He doesn’t know what to make of her! She’s unique and different from his last girlfriend, and she’s a mystery to him. He finds himself intrigued by her, and also he’s trying to keep his distance.

They remind me of Darcy & Elizabeth, and that is how I want to write them as well!

Christie is a free spirited, nature girl with an affinity for Volkswagen vans, and most importantly: Dave!

I have fun writing these two and the banter between them! Always makes me chuckle 🙂

As I was thinking about these two, the song “She’s a Mystery to Me” – by Roy Orbison came to me. It’s a favorite of mine, and I feel describes how Dave feels about her pretty accurately!
