I wrote for 15 minutes today, about half a page.
Taylor tried to “finish the job” to Jack, and now once he realizes he can’t reach his sister to tell her, panic sets in. He’s afraid he’ll caught. So what does he do? He hotwires a car, and gets away. His mentality is, if I can’t call her, I’ll go to her; in spite of the fact she has a restraining order against him.
I just realized Taylor doesn’t accept reality. He lives in a world that is what he sees, feels, or perceives, not necessarily what is real, but what he sees as fact.
As I am writing this, and thinking on this, what came to me is how we think we can do some things and have it be a secret, never found. But that isn’t true. God sees everything we do, even if no one else does. He is a just ruler and judge, His eyes seeing all. Consequences still occur from our actions, but if you’re repentant He doesn’t bring condemnation, but conviction. An aligning of your heart to see where you sinned.
And if you’re unrepentant, eventually your sins will find you out. What’s done in the dark won’t stay there, it will be flushed out and exposed. No one truly gets away with “murder”.
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. – Galatians 6:7-8
For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.- Luke 12:2
As I was prepping this blog and what to call, the song “Getting Away With Murder” by Papa Roach came to me. It seems fitting, as this is what Taylor erroneously believes.
