I had started working on a whole different blog post, and I remembered something God told me quite a ways back: Do a blog like “A Slob Comes Clean“, but for writing. And I haven’t really been doing that, very randomly.
So with that brought back to my mind today, here we are!
Day 1: New Beginnings (I felt led to call it this)
So far my writing today has been catching up with my journaling. Sometimes I do it on a website, called SimpleNote, and then later write it or print it out, in my journal.
And I’ve been typing up what I have written in my notebook for my 1980s Rock Star Tales #1 book.
I just reached the part, where little Holly has spilled the beans to Jack, that Valerie misses him during their 30-day separation, for him to get clean and work towards staying on the right path.
I still have to listen to quite a bit in the robot reader, and make sure it all sounds good, and not any weird sentences (or Yoda sentences, as I’ve realized I have a tendency to write some things like Yoda 😉 )
For my robot readers, I have a Linux computer which I switched to a few months back, after not wanting to be in the Windows software anymore. On the Linux PC, I use “Speech Note” which should be available in your store. My PC, runs using PoP OS, which HS told me “Prince of Peace” OS, and so that’s how I see it, and I love it!
Below are the Robot Readers & PoP OS, in case you’re interested in breaking out of Windows too!
Resources Mentioned:
* A Slob Comes Clean Website & Blog
* Simplenote
* Speech Note for Linux systems
* Natural Reader (limited to plus/premium voices with a word count, but a great resource!)
* Read Aloud (A Brave/Chrome extension, I use mostly for reading emails or articles to me.)
* PoP OS
See you tomorrow & happy writing!
I’d love to hear what you’re working on, thoughts/feedback, and some of your favorite resources! 🙂
