I wrote a good amount today! Jack and Holly just arrived at Holland, Michigan! Holly is very excited, but misses her mom, and wishes she could be there with them. So she brought Ira’s (her Grandfather) camera, to take photos she can share with Val later, to make her feel like she’s there. (And this time she asked permission, unlike with Dave’s guitar! 😉 )

What neither of them know, though, is Val is there with Dave & Christie!

I’ve been looking forward to writing this segment, because things are moving forward between Jack & Val, their bond is becoming stronger, more like it used to be–but even deeper. They’re both realizing how they want and need each other, in their lives, and it’s hard for them both to be apart for these 30 days.

Jack is getting quality father time with Holly, bonding with her more, and he’s thankful to be clean and being able to enjoy this time with her.

Meanwhile, Taylor looms in the shadows, obsessed with what he views the truth, in that Jack has stolen a product of his, and knowing the way to get him — Holly.

As “The Shadow” radio program would say: Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!
