I started chapter 25, right when Jack discovered the envelope contained cocaine, and lo and behold it was from Taylor!

He’s struggling, he doesn’t want to take it, but he’s being tempted and tested. Taylor believes Jack has some of his stolen goods, and so he’s tempting/testing him with this. He’s also being tested on a spiritual level, and he is asking God to help him. He doesn’t want to hurt Holly, or have her feel rejected by him — something Jackson struggled with throughout his whole life.

It was only about a page’s writing today, but I was on a roll, it flowed free (thank you, Jesus!) and am happy with it! 🙂

P.S. Also my Kindle Voyage arrived, it’s so small compared to the Kobo Libra Colour and my Oasis. It’s so stinking cute, and works great! I’m charging it up now, to go on a reading voyage 😉
